My Backstory
Dr. Sharon R. Clarke was born on the Island of Jamaica; she is the middle child of five siblings. In 1990, she migrated to Mississauga, Ontario, Canada with her two young children; her husband and stepdaughter later followed. Three years after immigrating to Canada, they welcomed their third child. Mississauga has now been her home for over 30 years. Here she watched her family grow and is now enjoying the pleasures of being a grandmother.
My values: I value compassion, Godly morals and ethics above recognition and popularity.
My goals In Christendom: Is to walk up to my Jesus and simply say hello “Jesus, I am here, thank you!” Then run on the streets of glory with the saints.
My earthly goals: To teach the gospel of Jesus to as many souls as possible, to write inspirational books and leave that legacy to my grandchildren.
My interests outside of work: I love studying the word of God, being with my family, and fellowship within the body of Christ.
What gets me up in the morning: A new day means new beginnings, new mercies, another chance to reach someone, and to read a Bible verse that I mediate on.
Work in Progress: Learning to go into my quiet space and spend some time with God in prayer; not only to speak to Him but to listen.
What is a hallelujah moment for me: It could be a big moment such as the airplane I’m travelling in make a safe landing or as simple as seeing the leaves on the tree sway in the wind.
I rejoice in the knowledge that when faith and hope are combined, grace releases supernatural results.
